I wanted to do a quick introduction to the recipe that I will be posting tomorrow. Last month I joined a group of fellow, baking mad bloggers called The Daring Bakers. Every month they set a challenge where one member chooses a recipe which all members will then recreate. The idea is to choose something that you would not ordinarily make and see the different ways in which each person interprets the recipe, whether we are born fiddlers who can't help but adapt or whether we follow it as closely as possible (that would be me.)
It will be interesting to see how much a difference an ocean will make to the recipe also. Slight differences in flours, measurements, (cups v grams) temperatures, (both oven and weather,) and even levels of humidity can mean the difference between success and frustration. The best part of being involved in a group like this is the interaction between the other members. If you're failing miserably just ask for help, rant, or just feel relieved when you find out you're not the only one!
I'm not going to give anything away but believe me when you see the results tomorrow you'll realise that we're not called Daring for nothing!

Am trying to access the Daring Bakers but the pic here only links to a site that I can't access. What to do?
