I adore gingerbread, and when I make it at home I often add very good quality powdered ginger, which gives a good kick, as well as crystallized ginger.

I adore gingerbread, have been longing for some recently, but didn't think I could leave it alone to develop its flavours for a few days in my cake tin. (instant gratification and all that)Might finih off the christmas cake tonight and after that all that remians of chriustmas is the excess junk in my trunk.

Absolutely gorgeous, dark and moist! Happy New Year! I took the decorations down the day after Epiphany, made me a little homesick...

The Cooking Ninja

I would love to have one slice of your gingerbread right now. They are gorgeous.
